Photography

Our GCSE Photography course, delivered through the Eduqas specification, provides students with a creative and meaningful way to express ideas, experiences, and identity. Working with young people with mental health and medical difficulties, Photography offers an accessible outlet for self-expression while building confidence, resilience, and independence.

Through practical image-making, digital editing, research, and critical analysis, students develop technical, creative, and reflective skills alongside transferable skills such as problem-solving, organisation, and evaluation. Photography enables students to communicate visually, celebrate their individuality, and achieve an accredited qualification that supports both future study and personal growth.
